Camp RIO Employs Staff to facilitate Outdoor Education Programs Annually. We call them Guides- for they guide our students and adult groups throughout their experience with us. These roles run from August to May. On-Site housing is provided as an option and most meals are also included. Click below to view openings.
Camp RIO also employs Summer Counselors (typically graduated high school students or college students) to care for the hundreds of Day and Overnight campers who come for Summer Camp. These amazing staff live at Camp RIO for 9 weeks serving kids ages 5-14 for week-long camp adventures. They learn how to teach activities as well as communication, manners, and communal living skills. All housing and meals are provided and one week off in July gives these special staff members a break in the middle of the summer.
