Camp RIO is a facility designed for outdoor-discovery and adventure!
We provide adventure-based learning tailored to your students, teachers, and staff.
Students spend their time exploring the natural world through activities such as archery, fishing, teambuilding, canoeing, stewardship, and more!

We strive to engage students with outdoor adventure lessons founded on our core mission to develop leaders through transformational experiences in the outdoors. These lessons are suited to our camper's academic maturity and physical capabilities. TEKS and grade-specific scopes are the foundation of all activities we offer at Camp RIO.

We offer STEAM and adventure-based activities for all ages.
We have over 20 activities to choose from! Our most popular activities include canoeing, geocaching, fire-starting, archery, tomahawks, teambuilding, and nature hike!

We serve delicious cuisine created by our awesome kitchen staff. Meals are included in some pricing. Our ODED team will communicate what is on our delicious menu that day.

Access to Camp RIO is via bus preferably.
We would be happy to discuss alternative options with you if you do not have a bus.
