Overnight Summer Camp Packing List

Here are the things you and your child will likely need to pack for Camp RIO summer camp.
Put everything in a trunk or suitcase.  Trunks are nice because they also create a place to sit.

PLEASE PUT NAMES ON EVERY ITEM

• Hat
• Glasses/contacts and cleaning solution
• Prescription medication (In a Ziplock bag labeled with your camper's name- include medication form in bag)
• Sunglasses
• Goggles for swimming
• Rain Jacket
• Shorts x 7
• Sweatshirt (cabins can be cold)
• Swimsuit 
• Swim shirt with UV protection
• T-shirts x 7
• Underwear x 7
• Pajama
• Flip-flops (for shower-time)
• Shoes, plus a spare pair
• Socks x 7
• Bedding — Bring twin size bed sheets, pillow, and a comforter/blanket or sleeping bag
• Hand towel
• Beach towels — can be used for bath or swimming
• Shower caddy
• Comb or brush
• Deodorant
• Bug repellent
• Shampoo and conditioner
• Soap in carrier
• Sunscreen
• Toothbrush, toothbrush container and toothpaste
• Flashlight
• Laundry bag
• Reusable water bottle
• Spending money (parents can add money to camp store online)
• Comforts of home, like a family photo or a stuffed animal
• Entertainment, like books and deck of cards- no electronics please
• Small backpack
