Camp RIO supports Career and Technical Education by providing students with hands on learning experiences that connect classroom instruction to real world careers.
Through TEKS aligned programming, career exploration and applied learning opportunities, students can strengthen skills connected to CTE pathways while experiencing those skills in an authentic outdoor environment.
Camp RIO can work with school districts to create learning experiences that support CTE course objectives, career readiness skills and pathway specific learning goals. These experiences give students opportunities to apply academic knowledge, explore careers and understand how the skills they are learning can be used beyond the classroom.
