What an exciting day! The opening and closing of camp are some of the most special days of all. On the first day parents will be able to meet their child's counselors, help them make their bunk and settle their things, and see where their child will be spending the next week. On closing day, campers and parents reunite and campers get to tell about all they have learned. We will have a brief ceremony on this day.
OPENING DAY
Parents will need to arrive at camp between 3:30-4:30pm on Sunday afternoon. Plan to park and be part of the check-in process. We will guide you around. All of your child's items should be packed in a trunk or suitcase with their bedding packed in their laundry bag. This will make it easier to unload.
**Leave this in your car until after you have checked in.
Campers will be given a health check by the camp nurse (must be free of lice in order to stay at camp), and you will be able to turn in any medications at this time. (don't forget the medication form)
Follow the driving directions below to get to the camp. The gates will not open until 3:30 pm on Sunday.

Heading North on HWY 77, take the Stillman rd exit.
At the stop sign, take the u-turn to go under the freeway and head south on the frontage rd.
Look for Fish Hatchery Rd on the right just past The Pecan Tree Motel
Turn right and follow this road until the very end.

CLOSING DAY
The day has finally come! It's been a great week for your campers and we know you will be anxious to see them again. We want this to be a great experience for both you and your camper so it's important that you arrive on time.
Please follow the driving directions the same way you did on Sunday. Gates will open at 9:45am. We will provide light refreshments and you will have time to check the lost and found table or pick up anything you left with the Camp Nurse.
At 10:10 you will be reunited with your campers in a very special way. You don't want to miss it so please don't be late! We will have a brief closing ceremony at 10:20 and then you will be on your way. We look forward to seeing you Saturday!
