The tomahawks originated with the Native American people. They regularly used tomahawks made from stone heads which were attached to wooden handles secured by strips of rawhide. General uses included hunting, chopping, cutting, or mainly as a weapon. It's a relaxing and mesmerizing activity that anyone can learn with the proper technique and the right practice.
Younger kids are welcome to come play at camp too while their older siblings are focusing on skill development. Wildwood is a free-play area where imaginations soar. Gaga ball is a camp-favorite game, and kids will be able to get their energy out! Arts and crafts available for our creative side, and time in the Grove will also be something your camper will enjoy.
