The American Camp Association is the leading authority in youth development, and we use their standards to guide our decision-making process in all aspects of camp. These strict guidelines ensure a safe and fun summer for campers, staff, and camper families.
We understand that it can be difficult for many families to have a child spend time away from home, especially if it's the first time. That is why we give parents updates on their campers using Bunk1.
Bunk1 is a face recognition software that allows families an easy way of staying connected with their child(ren) while at camp by providing photos, handwritten notes, and videos straight to your account.
Send Bunk Notes day or night. we receive a pdf at10 AM CST each day containing all Bunk Notes received in thelast 24 hours. Receive a handwritten note from your camper into your Bunk1account.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott released updates to COVID mandates for the state. Changes include rescinding the state-wide mask requirement and public area capacity limits. Our campers, staff, and camper families' health and safety are our top priority, and we will always do our part to keep our community safe. Camp RIO will continue our current safety protocols, including health screenings, wearing masks, ongoing sanitation procedures, and observing social distancing.
